West End Motors is a Stellantis franchised dealership serving Fort Frances and the Rainy River district since 1946.  We are a third generation locally owned and operated business that sells and services Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles.  We provide new and used vehicle sales, mechanical maintenance and repairs, vehicle accessories and protection, collision and autobody repairs as well as vehicle detailing. JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our team! The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, providing expert advice on parts selection, and ensuring that parts are ordered and delivered in a timely manner. This role requires strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of automotive parts, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

–        Assist customers with parts inquiries and provide expert recommendations.

–        Receive, sort, and store incoming parts and supplies in an organized manner.

–        Process requisitions and distribute parts for internal use.

–        Maintain accurate records of orders and inventory, using a manual or computerized system.

–        Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies as needed.

–        Sell spare and replacement parts for motor vehicles and equipment in a retail setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

–        High school diploma or equivalent.

–        Ability to work full-time on-site in Fort Frances, Ontario.

–        Strong communication and customer service skills

–        Experience in conflict resolution

–        1-2 years of experience in automotive parts sales or a related field

PREFERRED:

–        Additional automotive training or certification.

–        Proficiency in using parts catalogs and electronic systems for parts identification and ordering

–        Accuracy in managing orders and inventory, with at least 1 year of experience in an inventory management system.
