Truck and Coach Mechanic

Belisle Builders is a fully licenced residential and commercial general contractor serving White River, Ontario and its seven surrounding communities – est.1986.

We are currently seeking a Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs for all heavy equipment and vehicles. This is a full-time position. Experienced and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply. Salary negotiable, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
•Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
• Conduct electrical repairs
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
• Install or repair heavy equipment and attachments
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects
• Conduct other related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
