The Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin Worker’s primary responsibility is to ensure that violence against Indigenous women is addressed by implementing the Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin “I am a Kind Man” Program in order to reduce family violence, promote healthy equitable relationships, culture based programming and healing.
Confidential client services, education and support to individuals, families and the community, and promotion of healthy lifestyles and healthy relationship choices are part of the service deliverables.
