The Indigenous Mental Health & Wellness Worker’s primary responsibility is to provide wholistic and culture-based supports for urban Indigenous individuals and families, by developing and coordinating services that implement trauma-informed and strengths-based cultural approaches to address community-based mental health and well-being concerns.  The Indigenous Mental Health & Wellness Worker will deliver individual and group services including peer counselling, sharing circles and other traditional and land-based activities.  This position will collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and coordinate services and support in consultation with individuals and partnering programs.
