Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Manager – Tbaytel Store, the Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.
Major Responsibilities
– Greet and acknowledge every customer, maintain solid product knowledge and perform all other aspects of customer service.
– Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
– Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.
– Complete sales orders and point of Sales transactions accurately
– Responsible for Customer Relationship Management.
– Perform post-sale follow-up and support.
– Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
– Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
– Educate customers on Tbaytel’s products and services to ensure they make informed decisions.
– Showcase the features of Tbaytel’s products and services and how they can benefit the consumer.
– Communicate customer requests/concerns to management.
– Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
– Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of and complies with all legislation and Tbaytel policies relevant to the position and the duties performed.
– Any other related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
– Secondary School Diploma and one year of experience in a retail and/or service environment.
– Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
– Strong interpersonal skills and works in a professional and pleasant tone and manner
– Technical ability to learn new software as required.
– Effective Sales, time management, problem solving, analytical and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
– Post-secondary diploma/degree.
– Previous retail sales experience
– Knowledge of telecommunication industry, products and services.
– Proficiency in the use of various computer software programs, such as email, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
– Ability to communicate via American Sign Language (ASL)
