Part Time Registered Practical Nurse – Balmoral Centre

REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE (24-R91)

Status: Part Time
Site: Balmoral Centre
Shifts: Days/Evenings/Nights including weekends
Rate of Pay: $33.46 – $35.97 per hour

Qualifications:
– Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
– Current CPR
– Recent physical assessment and pharmacology courses
– Demonstrated knowledge of concurrent disorders
– Must have 1 to 2 years experience in mental health and addictions
– Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
– Demonstrated knowledge and ability to administer CIWA and COWS assessments
– Demonstrated knowledge of community agencies and pharmacies including Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre
– Current training in administering Suboxone
– Demonstrated experience working within a collaborative practice model of care
– Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

• This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
