We are looking for an organized and hardworking individual to join our team as a HVAC Technician.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to help us install heating/cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and installing air quality equipment. Ultimately, you will work in the shop floor to ensure that the HVAC units always run smoothly and perform necessary installations and repairs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measuring, installing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and controls
- Working with hand and power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Measuring and cutting ducting
- Testing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Performing routine maintenance
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Gas Technician 2 License
Experience:
- Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret technical data such as temperature and pressure
- Ability to operate and repair various HVAC equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines

- Very good physical strength and stamina
