Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Location: Dryden, ON

Hours: Part time or Full time

Duties:

–          Personal Care for client (bathing, dressing, toileting)

–          Lifts and Transfers

–          Nutrition/Food/Meal Prep

–          Cognitive, Emotional/Social Support

–          Housekeeping

Requirements:

–        Diploma or Certificate from a PSW course recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development or equivalent healthcare education OR RPN Students who have completed 1st year of studies or RN students who have completed 2nd year of studies

–        Effective oral and written communication skills

–        Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with patients and their families

–        Experience working with acutely ill, chronically ill, or palliative patients is considered a strong asset

–        Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area is required

–        Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance is required
