Required to pass 6 week training course in Cornwall ON which is provided by NavCanada. Vehicle required to commute to work. Job entails observing and reporting changes in current weather and tracking precipitation amounts on an hourly basis and at intervals determined by elements of weather. Data is entered into a computer program and sent to NavCanada on an intranet. Pay during training (including on the job training after the course) is minimum wage. One year contract to be signed before course. Expenses reimbursed for travel to Cornwall at the beginning of the course and again after the course is completed for travel to Red Lake. If not currently resident in Red Lake then applicant must be prepared to relocate.
