Overview:

Reporting to the Sawmill Supervisor, you will be part of a results-oriented team whose members are encouraged to exceed expectations. This job is full-time permanent.

Your Challenges:

• Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of certain areas of the factory
• Performing repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods of time, including, but not limited to, piling lumber, standing, walking, shoveling, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Complying with our health, safety, and environmental standards
• Other duties as assigned

Your profile:

• Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• An uncompromising approach to safety for yourself and the team
• Experience with and/or around manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 4-days-on/4-days-off schedule
• Reliable transportation to and from the sawmill (1000 Mill Road)

• Base salary of $26.64 per hour, with night shift addition of $.55 per hour
