Superior Greenstone Association for Community Living (SGACL) is a non-profit, social services agency that provides residential and community supports to people with a developmental disability. We are currently seeking compassionate and responsible people to join our team as a Community Participation Support Services Worker to provide person-centered support to people. Key Responsibilities include:
• A focus on community presence with meaningful participation and purposeful contribution.
• Creating and promoting opportunities for people to be actively involved in activities of their choosing.
• Believing that everyone has a greater sense of belonging and contribution when opportunities for new experiences are presented.
• Helping people to achieve their goals.

The successful candidate must have and must demonstrate the following:
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• An attitude that respects the principles of independence, dignity, integration, and equality.
• A valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification required before your first day. SGACL will cover the cost of subsequent recertification.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overnights and weekend shifts.
• Ability to provide assistance with lifting, transferring and/or pushing wheelchairs as required.
• A clean criminal background check and vulnerable sector check.
