SUMMER STUDENTS (2) EMPLOYMENT
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Santé Manitouwadge Health is now accepting applications for two (2) summer student positions in the department of Environmental Services for an 8-week period.

Job Description: To assist in varied maintenance and grounds keeping duties at Santé Manitouwadge Health, the ambulance base, medical and dental clinics, and facility-owned housing.

Qualifications: Preference will be given to the candidates with the following qualifications:

• ability to complete tasks requiring physical activity (example: standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, crawling, lifting, stooping, working at different heights or in constrained areas)
• ability to follow Santé Manitouwadge Health policies and procedures in accordance with the Employment Standards Act and Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
• ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
• ability to apply basic safe operating practices when operating small machinery and using lawn care tools.
• ability to follow directions and seek clarification as required.
• individuals must have strong interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working both independently or as part of a team.
• Must be at least 15 years old and have a social insurance number.
• Regular attendance required.
