Position: Marketing Coordinator

Location: 79 Queen Street, Sioux Lookout, ON

Overview:

Fresh Market Foods is looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing efforts across all company locations including Fresh Market Foods, Your Dollar Store with More, Red Pine Convenience, and Golden Eagle Convenience & Gas Bar. This permanent full-time position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both pricing strategy and creative content development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and updating pricing data using NextStep and Digi systems.
• Implement price changes and promotions in accordance with company guidelines.
• Prepare and coordinate the weekly flyer, ensuring timely and accurate content.
• Utilize Kuusoft software for digital signage updates and marketing displays.
• Create, edit, and manage a photo and video library for marketing materials and promotions.
• Produce visually engaging graphics, videos, and content for social media and advertising using tools such as Canva.
• Pull and summarize weekly and monthly sales reports as requested by the Manager.
• Provide marketing support for store events, including designing promotional materials, attending events, and capturing content for future use.
• Travel to local retail locations, including Lac Seul and Dollar Store sites, for photography and promotional content gathering.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to maintain calendars, execute campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with design tools such as Canva, and video editing software.
• Familiarity with Kuusoft, NextStep, and Digi systems is considered an asset.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Interest in and basic knowledge of pricing strategies, retail marketing, and social media trends.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time (40 hours/week), including weekends and holidays

Wage/Salary: $21.00 – $25.00 per/hour (depending on experience)
