Are you a highly organized professional who enjoys supporting people, managing details, and helping operations run smoothly? As part of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Administrator plays an important role in supporting employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle while helping ensure efficient HR operations at our remote camp operation.
Role Overview
As part of the Human Resources team, you will support recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee travel coordination, training administration, workforce reporting, and employee record management while helping deliver an exceptional employee experience.
Located at Musselwhite Mine,this role offers a 14-days-on, 14-days-off rotational schedule, with transportation, accommodations, and meals provided while on site.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate recruitment activities, interview scheduling, reference checks, and hiring documentation
Support onboarding and orientation for new employees
Maintain employee files, HR databases, and confidential records
Prepare employment letters, agreements, and HR documentation
Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries
Support payroll-related employee changes and data accuracy
Assist in generating HR reports and workforce metrics
Coordinate employee travel arrangements to and from site
Track and administer mandatory training and certification requirements
Support compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR, recruitment, or administrative role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or training systems is an asset
Experience supporting remote camp, mining, industrial, or service-based operations is considered an asset
CHRP designation or progress toward designation is considered an asset
