Cashier/Cleaner

Job Entails:

• LCBO cashier
• Some cabin cleaning
• Customer service checking customers into cabins etc.

Shifts

• 24-40 hours a week.

Experience is an asset

Specific Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education:

A high school diploma or GED is generally required,

• Experience:

Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar role, particularly with handling money transactions and customer inquiries, is often preferred.

• Skills:

• • Math Skills: Cashiers need to be proficient in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to accurately process transactions and manage cash.

• • Customer Service: Cashiers should be friendly, helpful, and able to resolve customer issues effectively.

• • Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication is necessary for interacting with customers, providing information, and resolving concerns.

• • Time Management: Cashiers must be able to manage their time effectively, especially during busy periods.

• • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and other electronic equipment is crucial.

• Other Qualities:

• • Detail-oriented: Accuracy is important when handling transactions and counting money.

• • Team-oriented: Cashiers often work as part of a team and need to be able to collaborate effectively.

• • Reliable and punctual: Employers expect cashiers to be dependable and arrive on time for their shifts.

• • Stress Management: employees need to be able to handle a busy environment probably.
