Respite Contract Coordinator -#2025-IC-01

Work location: Marathon/Manitouwadge

Wesway is seeking the services of a Respite Contract Coordinator (RCC) to assist families in Marathon/Manitouwadge and the surrounding communities. This independent contractor position will support families enrolled in Wesway’s Family Directed Respite Funding program. Families enrolled in the program are caregiving for a child, adult or senior family member with disability or chronic health condition.

• Helping families with the sign-on portion of the program including but not limited to explaining how the program works, reviewing program contracts & agency policy handbook, etc.
• On-going support around usage of the program including but not limited to helping the family create a respite service plan, how to budget and track their respite funding, and support around using our online Family Portal and invoices.
• The RCC will act as a resource by linking potential direct respite providers to families and exploring options for respite service within the community.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build strong community relationships
• Effective time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
• Experience/education in the Human Services field
• Functional computer skills
• Current Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle to support travel in the district
• Police record with vulnerable screening check required
• Ability to speak French would be an asset

The contract will involve working up to 20 hours per month and travel expenses will be negotiated.
