Health Educator 2026-26

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-directed individual to be the local contact for our Community Health Promotion team’s initiatives. In this role you will work both independently and collaboratively to implement and evaluate local programming.  This position requires extensive community collaboration with partners to deliver public health programs and activities according to local needs.

Qualifications:

• College diploma in community and social services, health and wellness, health education or health promotion is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health promotion principles, project management and community development.
• Ability to work with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and the Internet.

Salary: $29.32 – $36.90 per hour, based on experience.
