Dispatcher

Morgan Fuels, a large fuel, propane and lubricant distribution company operating throughout Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba, has an employment opportunity for a full-time Dispatcher.

This is a new position based out of Thunder Bay and is responsible for the scheduling and dispatch of drivers. The Dispatcher will assign drivers to trucks and provide accurate directions for loading product and delivery requirements. Additionally, the Dispatcher will assist with the overall operation planning including but not limited to delivery of lubricants and propane.

Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• 5 years of experience in a dispatch position.
• Previous experience working in the trucking/petroleum industry
• Knowledge of petroleum handling and related legislation.
• 2 years of experience providing customer service
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills.
• Experience operating a forklift or ability to learn.
• Safety conscious.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Acceptable reference check.

The successful candidate will be required to submit an acceptable Criminal Records Check.

We are offering a four days on, fours days off schedule, working 10 hour shifts each day. Occasional after hours and weekend work will be required.

Rate of Pay:   $31.12 – $35.57 per hour
