KOBE is hiring multiple well being workers across the region.
Salary Range: $41,600 to $71,980
Responsibilities:
Support Mental Health/Wellness programming for KO First Nation schools and KiHS classroom sites
Develop and promote a Healthy and Active Living program in KO First Nation schools and KiHS classroom sites
Support Classroom Land Based activities as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Post secondary education in the field of Social Work and/or Mental Health
Experience working within First Nations’ Mental Health and Counselling programs
Knowledge of First Nation education issues and challenges and of Indigenous culture and values in a regional context
