General Manager (NOC 60020)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations across all locations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong operational, financial, and people management skills. You will ensure both stores run efficiently, meet performance goals, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all locations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and workplace regulations.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maintain proper stock levels and minimize waste.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and a positive work environment.
- Conduct staff performance reviews, set goals, and support ongoing development and training.
- Address performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer inquiries or complaints promptly.
- Monitor daily sales, costs, and KPIs to ensure profitability and operational targets are met.
- Control budgets, reduce waste, and implement cost-saving strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Support marketing and merchandising initiatives, including promotions, seasonal displays, and signage.
- Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation to meet store standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with teams to develop new products and stay ahead of market trends.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve store goals, including sales targets, cost control, and customer satisfaction
- Managing store budgets, analyzing financial reports, and implementing cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.
- Use Microsoft Office, Teams, Planner, and Dayforce for scheduling, payroll, and communication.
- Communicate regularly with ownership to align business goals and store performance.
- Work to create positive relations among all business functions.
- Create positive community relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in retail, grocery, or food service operations (multi location experience preferred).
- Business Diploma, Business Certificate or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and meet sales targets.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with scheduling and project management tools (Teams, Planner, Dayforce).
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
