Delivery Driver (NOC 75201)

Fresh Market Foods is seeking responsible Delivery Driver (NOC 75201) to operate company vehicles and safely deliver groceries to in-town customers, the local airport and Lac Seul with occasional day trips to nearby communities and businesses up to 300 km away. This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, and adherence to company policies and health and safety standards. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Order Desk Team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of customer orders.
• Plan and follow established delivery routes to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Load and unload cargo, groceries, or merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, including delivering orders, accepting payments, and addressing customer inquiries.
• Record delivery details, including pick-ups, drop-offs, vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is stocked with necessary equipment and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned to support the Order Desk and delivery operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and experience.
• Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong ability to work independently and fast-paced retail environment
• Must be available for early morning shifts and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, safe driving practices, and route planning.
• Basic computer or handheld device proficiency for logging deliveries is considered an asset.

Language of Work: Proficiency in English required; French is considered an asset.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of related delivery or driving experience is required.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time (40 hours/week)

Hourly Rate: $23.00 -$26.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Transportation: Fresh Market Foods will cover a one-time round-trip travel cost for the successful candidate to our location and back to their permanent residence at the end of the work period. (This does not include the cost for a full trailer move (household goods, trailers, or large personal belongings etc.).

Housing: Below-market value employee housing may be available, subject to availability.
