Dollar Store With More Employment Opportunity
Position: Store Clerk – Full-time
Location: 26 Alcona Drive , Sioux Lookout, ON, P8T 1B9
Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Store Clerk at Your Dollar Store with More. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of our store, providing excellent service to our valued customers. You will assist with sales transactions, answer customer inquiries, and help maintain a clean and organized store environment. This is a great opportunity for those who are passionate about customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance as needed
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Ring up purchases accurately on the cash register
- Manage the till, including counting and balancing cash drawers
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales and handling of cash
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and neatly organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock items.
- Fill balloons according to customer requests, ensuring they are filled with the correct gas and tied securely.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Terms of Employment: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $16.55- $17.99 per hour (Students start at $15.60); depending on experience
