Position Overview:
We are seeking a competent and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) Instructor to join our team at Dilico Anishinabek Family Care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching adults and be passionate about helping mature students achieve their goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Meet Instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Two (2) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment preferably in a long-term care/community/chronic care setting.
Two (2) years’ experience working in a First Nation community or equivalent organization.
Knowledge of the NACC’s Personal Support Worker program curriculum is an asset. The provision of professional leadership for clinical practice, support, and services to health staff and managers; audits and assessments to ensure quality nursing services; advice and guidance in all matters relating to nursing and nursing service delivery; trend identification to influence planning as well as advocate for equipment and practice improvements.

Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the supervisor or designate in relation to service delivery requirements.
Must posses a valid Ontario Driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
Hours of work:
35 hours per week
