Heavy Equipment Operators in Atikokan
The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a variety of equipment in the Atikokan work site. Duties are, but not limited to; log unloading and loading, lumber transfer, kiln loading, finished lumber loading, and snow removal. Equipment operators will be expected to operate all equipment smoothly, efficiently, and in a safe manner.
JOB TYPE:
Full time, Permanent
$30.26 per hour, yearly increase in January
40hrs per week with overtime availability
Onsite training included

Requirements:
- Must have own accommodations in Atikokan
- Valid ‘G’ Driver’s License or G2.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment or heavy equipment course completion is considered an asset however we train new all new hires.
- Highly motivated and committed to Health and Safety
- Criminal Background Check is required

Atikokan is located two hours away from Thunder Bay, applicants must have their own accommodations in Atikokan. Schedules are 4 days off 4 days, 12 hr shifts, driving back and forth to Thunder Bay while on days on isn’t an option because of the schedule.
