Community Living Dryden-Sioux Lookout is seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Manager of Services. In this position you will work within a dedicated team whose focus is to mobilize community efforts to create innovative solutions through advocacy and collaboration.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, this management position champions a positive work atmosphere through the supervision and evaluation of all aspects of the assigned programs, supported individuals, and staff.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
• Ability to be a change management advocate
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, out of town travel and participate in on-call rotations
• Ability to prioritize and organize
• Demonstrate understanding of an interdisciplinary approach to planning and facilitation
• Capacity to collaborate with community partners
• Good knowledge of the community
• Ability to advocate for individuals
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with preference to Social Sciences or equivalency with minimum 5 years in a management or supervisory role, preferably within a unionized environment
• Demonstrates a broad knowledge and proven experience working with individuals living with developmental disabilities
• CPR, First Aide, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Prevention
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Demonstrates high degree of proven DSHR Strategy Core Competencies at Manager Level
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience in conflict resolution and decision-making is an asset

Salary Range:
• $82,012/year to $94,180/year
