JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Outpatient Services Manager, the Intake Coordinator & Group Facilitator plays a central role in supporting client access, program delivery, and operational continuity within the counselling department. This position is responsible for managing client intake processes, developing and facilitating therapeutic group programming, and providing cross-functional support across reception, administration, and case management as needed.
The role also contributes to staff development, community engagement, and culturally responsive care, with a particular emphasis on Indigenous cultural sensitivity, addiction recovery support, and system efficiency through proficiency in MediTech Expanse.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Intake Coordinator & Group Facilitator must have a degree in Social Work/Psychology or Social Service Workers diploma and have a professional registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and relevant experience and training in working with people with serious mental illness and their families, and in addictions assessments and counselling. Experience in intake coordination, group facilitation and case management is an asset.
