Job Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining contract and operational data in our internal systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial and project records are current, organized, and accurate. This position reports to the Director of Business Development and Energy Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Enter and update contracts, purchase orders, and invoices into company databases
•Verify accuracy of data before input and resolve discrepancies when needed
•Maintain organized digital and/or physical filing systems
•Assist with basic administrative tasks related to project and financial documentation
•Communicate with project managers and accounting staff to clarify missing or incomplete information
•Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company information
•Perform regular data checks for accuracy and completeness, and perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
•Previous experience in data entry, administration, or bookkeeping preferred.
•Familiarity with construction management software is an asset
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Good organizational and time management skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
•Strong communication skills
