Job Summary:
Marten Falls First Nation Education is inviting applications for a Temporary Cook / Student Nutrition Worker to provide coverage while the permanent employee is on a temporary leave. In this role, you support the Henry Coaster Memorial School’s student nutrition program. Moreover, you contribute to student health and well-being.

Position Details:
Employment Type: Temporary
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Henry Coaster Memorial School
Priority: Preference will be given to qualified Marten Falls First Nation members and local applicants.

Compensation & Work Options:
Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour

Full-Time: 8 hours per day ($200 per day)
Part-Time: 5 hours per day ($125 per day)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for students
• Support daily operations of the student nutrition program
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with inventory and basic kitchen organization
• Work respectfully with students, staff, and community members

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (required)
• Kitchen experience cooking for large groups (required)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
