The Township of Terrace Bay is now accepting applications for the position of Community Development Manager.
This leadership role is responsible for advancing community development, recreation, tourism, and special event initiatives throughout the community. As part of the Township’s management team, the successful candidate will help lead projects and programs that contribute to Terrace Bay’s long-term growth, vibrancy, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading community development and recreation initiatives
• Identifying tourism and economic development opportunities
• Managing Township recreation facilities and operations
• Supervising unionized and non-unionized staff
• Coordinating community programs and special events
• Supporting funding applications and strategic initiatives
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education related to Community Development, Recreation, or a similar field, along with 3–5 years of progressive management experience, preferably in the municipal sector.
📌 Salary Range:
$83,397.27 – $100,478.64
