Hours of Work:              Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; hours can be                                                                                           flexible but must be consistent)

Wage:                             Competitive and based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean and organized shop floors, work bays, and common areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Wash and detail heavy equipment, service trucks, and small tools, ensuring all gear is ready for use.
  • Assist technicians with basic mechanical tasks such as staging tools, parts runs, and preparing equipment for service or inspection.
  • Perform pickup and delivery runs for parts, tools, and equipment as directed.
  • Keep track of shop supplies and materials; restock inventory and notify supervisors when items need replenishing.
  • Support the Shop Foreman and Service Manager with day-to-day maintenance, cleanup, and operational tasks.
  • Help maintain the yard area — organizing equipment, storage containers, sweeping, grass-cutting, minor snow removal, and ensuring safe traffic flow for machinery.
  • Take initiative to identify and complete general upkeep or organizational projects around the shop.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License (required).
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Safety-oriented and team-focused attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual, with consistent availability.
  • Able to lift 50lbs, safely.
