Part-Time, Seasonal Civilian Instructor

Location: Marathon

Wage: $22/hour

Hours: Minimum of 3 hours/week with additional time available for training preparation and occasional weekend trips

Job Requirements:

• Be of good character and standing within the community
• Shall successfully complete the Reliability Status Check and Police Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Shall be at least 18 years of age
• Possess knowledge of instructional ability deemed valuable to the cadet organization by the commanding Officer
• Must not be a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Former members of the CAF having been released under items 3b, 2a, 4b, 4c, 5a, 5b, 5c, or 5e may be approved by the RCSU CO
• Must not be a member of a Cadet Organization
• Must be a Canadian Citizen. A citizen of another country who is a permanent resident of Canada may be considered with proper approval.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and supervise training on weekly training nights and weekend field training exercises.
• Teach specialized skills such as marksmanship, drill, music, navigation, or survival.
• Assist with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and supply management.
