Intern Opportunity – Marathon, On
Are you passionate about working with children, youth or adults and making learning fun? Join our team @ United for Literacy and help make a difference in a child or adult’s life and in your community.
Position: Fall Intern
Start Date: October 5, 2026 – April 2nd, 2027
Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
“The funding for this position restricts participation to young adults aged 18-29. Only applicants that meet this mandatory program eligibility can be considered for this intern role.”
What You’ll Do:
- Support and collaborate with volunteer colleagues and Team Coordinator and Instructor to deliver weekly literacy programs and fun learning activities.
- Help create fun, engaging, and interactive activities for children and youth
- Assist with program setup, organization, and clean-up
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine love for working with kids and adults
- Enthusiasm for literacy, learning, and creativity
- Reliable, organized, and a team player
- Commitment to 12 hours a week to a program for 25 weeks
