Heavy Equipment Operator – Mining Operations

ALLPRO Construction Group is currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team on active mining projects in Northern Ontario. This role offers the opportunity to work in a production-driven mine environment with a strong crew, competitive wages, and full camp accommodations.
Position Overview
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will operate a variety of equipment to support mining and civil operations, including material handling, road maintenance, and site development. This is a hands-on role requiring experience, awareness, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Equipment may include:
o Excavators
o Loaders
o Dozers
o Graders
o Rock trucks (as required)
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Work with supervisors to meet production targets
• Maintain haul roads, stockpiles, and work areas
• Follow all mine site safety procedures and regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch
Requirements
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in mining or heavy civil environments
• Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment is a strong asset
• Valid driver’s licence (AZ/DZ an asset)
• Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
• Ability to work rotational shifts and camp-based work
• Strong understanding of safe work practices
Assets (Not Required but Preferred)
• Common Core (Surface Miner) modules
• Experience on mine sites (gold, aggregate, or similar)
• Road maintenance or production mining experience
• GPS / grade control experience
Work Environment
• Active mining operation
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• 12-hour shifts (day/night rotation)
• Camp-based living with full accommodations
