Health and Safety Administrator (Hemlo Mine Site)
Full-Time Permanent

Job Purpose

Under the direction of Hemlo’s Immediate Supervisor and the PRDC Contract Supervisor, the Administrator provides essential support to the Health & Safety Department. This position is part of the Labour Services Agreement between Pic River Development Corporation and Hemlo Mining Corporation.

Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and organizational support to the Health & Safety Department.
• Maintain filing systems (digital and physical), including archiving, digitizing, and secure disposal of records.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain departmental data.
• Ensure accessibility and accuracy of documentation.
• Support departmental projects and initiatives through assigned administrative tasks.
• Assist with other duties within the Health & Safety Department as required across the mine site.

Qualifications
• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in data recording, organization and management required.
• Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Strong organizational skills with proven attention to detail required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experienced in data entry and administrative support required.
• Prior administrative experience in a mining, industrial, or health & safety environment an asset.

Shift
• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Salary
• Compensation will be based on experience
• Monthly incentive bonus
• Travel Allowance
