Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Student to join the Dryden Team for a summer co-op term from approximately May to September 2026. The city of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.

Responsibilities of an Electrical & Instrumentation Co-op Summer Student include working with Electrical/Instrumentation tradespeople to:

• Troubleshoot PLCs
• Work on low and medium voltage systems
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair process control equipment
• Work on motor and motor controls.

An ideal candidate for this summer student opportunity includes:

• You will currently be enrolled in a two (2) or three (3) year College diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation or its equivalent.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills.
• Demonstrate applied mechanical ability.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
• Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
• A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
