Community Living Dryden-Sioux Lookout has been providing support services to individuals living with developmental disabilities for over 60 years.
As a casual employee, you can elect to take shifts that are flexible for your lifestyle with a competitive salary. You will have the opportunity to work in various settings and move into permanent Part-time and Full-time work. You will be involved in community events, recreational activities, outreach and employment supports, life sharing, community accommodations, and supported independent living care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide overall supports and services by meeting the individual outcomes as defined in the Person-Centred Plan.
- Ensure the safety and respect of individuals receiving services.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and growth of the individuals being supported.
- Help maintain a positive and healthy team environment.
- Ability to safely lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights and weekend shifts.
Conditions of Employment:
- Possess a Developmental Services Worker diploma or other relevant qualifications.
- Possess a valid G driver’s license and be prepared to use a personal vehicle for work purposes.
- Maintain liability endorsement 6A on your auto insurance policy (or equivalent coverage as approved by the agency).
- Provide a current Driver’s Abstract.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check.
Wage Range:
- As stated in the wage grid within the Collective Agreement
- $23.44/hour (Probationary) to $30.04/hour (Casual)
