Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Red River Co-op (2577869 Ontario Ltd.) As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they approach the checkout counter and process their transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments using a point-of-sale system.
• Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled at the end of each shift.
• Assist customers with questions or concerns, and direct them as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with stocking products as necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with computers.
