About the role:
The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC) is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive to individual patient/family preferences, needs, and values and ensures that those values guide all decisions. All applicants must possess the following skills, experience and qualifications.
* Unencumbered registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario, or qualified to do so.
* General experience in Core Lab ‑ Biochemistry, Haematology and/or Transfusion Medicine
* Good accountability, organization, communication, critical thinking, problem‑solving and teamwork skills
* Availability for all shifts times scheduled within the department (24‑7‑365 operation)
Salary Range: $36.840 to 50.240
The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety and security of the patients, visitors, employees and assets financial and otherwise. Regular attendance at work is imperative, therefore, all applicants will have to demonstrate a good attendance record to be considered for this position.
