Recruiting for Wash Bay Attendants Wesdome Gold

 

White Lake Limited Partnership, as represented by its general partner, White Lake Resources Corp., is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the temporary full-time position of Plant Clerk.

The White Lake Limited Partnership is owned by the Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg (Pic Mobert First Nation) and has been mandated to develop, implement and manage business opportunities for the benefit of the Pic Mobert First Nation and its members. The Partnership has a diverse range of business lines and capabilities which are expanding and diversifying, in part due to new mining and forestry developments, and employs and manages a total staff of approximately 55+ people. This position reports to the Manager of Mining and the onsite Contract Supervisor under the direction of our Barrick Contract. The position is located at Wesdome Gold Mine.

Schedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

Positions: 2 positions

Scope: See below. Will also be using them to kit parts when not wash equipment

Requirements: Able to perform physically demanding work.

Reports To: Mobile Supervisor

Working Conditions: Working alone in the wash bay, will be working with the Mobile crews and there will be day shift night shift

 Purpose: Safely clean all machinery and light vehicles on site. All work shall be done in compliance with company and legislative standards.

Risks: 

  • Dirt or grease in eyes
  • Failing to lock out and tag out properly

Definitions:

  • Power Washer – Equipment that pumps waster at variable pressures
  • Surface Wash Bay – A place designated in the Mobile Maintenance Shop for washing vehicles.
  • Water Cannon –  A high volume pressure washer.

Procedure:

As a part of the 5 Point Safety System: Inspect the workplace for hazards or potentially hazardous conditions. Take appropriate action such as removing the hazard, guarding the area, and/or reporting the potentially hazardous conditions.
