ModBox Modular is a leader in modular construction and assembly solutions. We are looking to build and rapidly deploy and furnish essential housing infrastructure for our community. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team immediately to assemble furniture and build out these vital living spaces.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble a high volume of furniture items efficiently, including bed frames, IKEA furniture, chairs, desks, and shelving units.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and proficiently (e.g., cordless drills, screwdrivers, Allen keys, rubber mallets, and wrenches).
- Read, interpret, and precisely follow manufacturer assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure structural integrity.
- Inspect finished products carefully for quality, stability, and safety before they are deployed into the modular units.
- Unbox, organize, and sort furniture components, hardware kits, and tools to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation by managing packaging disposal and tool storage.
- Report any damaged components, missing hardware, or inventory shortages immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with the modular build team to meet strict daily assembly targets and project deadlines.
 Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to understand visual and written assembly instructions accurately.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Sharp attention to detail to ensure every piece of furniture is sturdy and safely built.
- Reliable transportation to the build site in Thunder Bay.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a collaborative team attitude.
