Job Summary:

The Informatics Specialist (Meditech Expanse) provides support to the Meditech Expanse Project by assisting the Expanse Lead with the planning, coordination, and execution of site-level activities. Working closely with Internal Teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and External Partners, the Activation Resource helps ensure timelines are met, tasks are completed, and program initiatives are successfully implemented and integrated into daily operations. The role also plays a key part in governance participation, continuous improvement efforts, and facilitating collaboration between local teams, BridgeNW, and ONE HITS to resolve issues effectively and support overall program success.

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or GED required.
  • Certificate/Diploma in secretarial/business administration studies or a degree or diploma in healthcare, nursing, health informatics, computer science, or information technology an asset.
  • Certifications in clinical management or health information management or other related field and/or a combination of education and experience an asset,
    Demonstrated knowledge of different departmental workflows within an organization.
  • 2–4 years of experience with Meditech an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency required e.g.: MS Office 2010, proficient keyboarding and word processing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working within a team.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and support Meditech Expanse program activities and timelines.
  • Work with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and follow-ups.
  • Support and participate in various local working group.
  • Ensure completion and approval of required documentation and deliverables.
  • Assist with updates to policies, procedures, and program-related materials.
  • Identify risks or issues, support resolution, and escalate when needed.
  • Maintain reporting tools and support ongoing program improvements.
  • Must adhere to organizational policies and procedures concerning cleaning, hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment in support of Infection Control measures and attend training when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary:   Starting at $37.47 per hour. Commensurate with skills, experience and education.
