Rate of Pay: $49.91 – $61.35/hour
JOB SUMMARY
The Outpatient Services Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and performance of outpatient clinical programs, including Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Services, Rehabilitation Services, and Community Counselling. This position is a member of the Management Team and is responsible and accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Outpatient Services Manager provides operational and clinical oversight, supports interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensures compliance with applicable legislation, professional standards, and organizational policies. The Manager fosters a culture of safety, continuous quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a regulated health profession or health administration.
- Current registration in good standing with a relative regulatory college in Ontario, where applicable.
- Management education and a minimum 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Experience overseeing multiple clinical services or programs is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital operations, quality improvement, and accreditation processes.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong leadership and team-building skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Financial and operational management skills.
- Experience in policy development and implementation.
- Basic Computer Skills.
