We are looking to hire a bookkeeper/ accounting person for our firm.

The ideal candidate should:
• Have accounting / bookkeeping experience (general and trust accounting, deposits, entering payments, monitoring/ reconciling bank accounts, printing cheques, invoicing, balancing accounts, managing and maintaining personnel records, payroll, sending wire transfers, paying accounts receivables, monitoring and managing accounts receivables, HST and Levy remittances, year end reconciliations for accountants etc)
• Be proficient with computers (keyboarding/ dictations, standard software knowledge (Microsoft Office, Excel), familiarity with practice specific software (i.e. PC Law) is preferred).
• Be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Be able to understand and maintain confidentiality both within the workplace and the broader scope.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, reasoning, good judgment and the ability to interact with staff and clients and the ability to assess and resolve issues.
• Be motivated (strong work ethic), focused and able to work independently.
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Have experience working with and serving others.
