Positions Available: 5 – Full-Time Positions
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Support Services Manager or designate, the Case Aide is primarily responsible for providing support and transportation to children and youth receiving child welfare services, consistent with the philosophy, approach, goals, and learning environment established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.
Salary Range: $23.71 To $30.04 Hourly
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Services or a related field considered an asset.
- First Nation, Inuit, or Metis (FNIM) Elder, Knowledge Keeper, Healer, Cultural Person, or individual with relevant traditional knowledge and cultural experience.
- Currently enrolled in a diploma, certificate, or degree program in Human Services or related field.
- Relevant skills, knowledge, and experience working with children, youth, and families.
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Search, including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Required to work flexible hours, travel regularly and to act on an “on-call” basis as determined by the respective Service Manager in relation to service requirements.
- Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License, possess a clean driving record and have access to a personal vehicle which will pass a safety inspection.
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week
