HR & Administrative Assistant Internship

Superior Greenstone Association for Community Living (SGACL) is a non-profit, social services agency that provides residential and community supports to adults who have a developmental disability. SGACL is currently seeking candidates who have a desire to promote growth opportunities for the people we support. This would be a hybrid role (fully supervised).

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Human Resources Advisor, the HR & Administrative Assistant Intern will work as part of a team to provide support in various areas of human resources, administration and marketing with a focus on onboarding, training and orientation, creating promotional materials, contributing to fundraising efforts and entering general data. The HR & Administrative Assistant Intern will be responsible for individual projects and will contribute to collaborative group projects.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program from an accredited college or university. The position must be the applicant’s first full-time employment in their field of study. This multifaceted position requires strong interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills, with an ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs are also required.
