We are currently seeking to hire a temporary, full-time Human Resources Administrative Assistant (Student), located in Dryden, Ontario.  Our employees enjoy a healthy work environment, development opportunities, and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department with a variety of HR and payroll related functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assists the HR Assistant and the Pension & Benefits Coordinator with filing (i.e., photocopying, and scanning documents, and organizing, maintaining office records and files), as required.
  • Supports regular research and compliance initiatives related to HR, payroll & benefits functions.
  • Assists the development, and/or updating job descriptions, as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Successful applicants will be able to:

  • A high level of ability to use computers and other information technology, including specialized software and administrative systems.
  • Knowledge of filing systems.
  • Ability to work both independently to complete assigned tasks and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ongoing commitment to the principles and practice of confidentiality.

Qualifications will include:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrolment in post-secondary studies, in Human Resources Management, Office Administration, or a related field.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check.

To be considered for this position, you must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment and be legally eligible to work in Canada by: being a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment. The hourly wage for this position is $20.43 – $21.68.  Wage dependent on whether the successful candidate is a new or returning student.
