CORE SERVER DUTIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greetings and serving guests professionally
Taking and Serving food and beverage orders accurately
Operating the POS system and handling payments responsibly
Maintaining menu knowledge and guest satisfaction
Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and management
Complying with all workplaces, health, and safety policies
B. Take-Out, Phone & Order Support
Answering incoming phone calls professionally
Taking take-out and delivery orders by phone accurately
Entering or relaying orders correctly into the POS or to kitchen staff
Confirming order details with customers (items, quantities, special instructions)
Packing food orders carefully by matching items with the Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT)
Verifying accuracy of packed orders before handing-off to customers or delivery drivers
3. SMART SERVE REQUIREMENT
The Employee must always hold and maintain a valid Smart Serve Ontario certification while employed.
The Employee agrees to follow all Ontario alcohol service laws, including refusal of service when required.
Failure to maintain valid certification or comply with alcohol service laws may result in removal from shifts or disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
