Housekeeper – Job Responsibilities
General Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels as per standards
Dust furniture, clean mirrors, windows, and surfaces
Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
Room & Facility Upkeep
Replenish room supplies (toiletries, tissues, coffee, etc.)
Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management
Ensure rooms are properly set up before guest check-in
Follow cleaning checklists and quality standards
Laundry Duties (if applicable)
Wash, dry, fold, and store linens and towels
Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow workplace health, safety, and WHMIS guidelines
Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
Adhere to infection control and sanitation procedures
Guest & Team Interaction
Respond politely to guest requests when required
Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
Work cooperatively with front desk and maintenance teams
