Flagger
MKWA Contracting is looking for a responsible individual to assume the role of flagger on Highway 17. The ideal candidate will help with the protection of workers, equipment operators, drivers and the public to ensure the work zone’s protection and efficient traffic control.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure road safety practices are followed
- Controlling the flow of traffic in and around work zones
- Maintain continuous communication with other flaggers/or Foreman
- Assist with setup of all signage related to the work zones
- Conduct hazard assessments
Requirements and Skills:
- Book 7 Traffic Control Certificate an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Steel-toe boots, all other PPE provided by employer
Contract Details:
- Work hours vary depending on project
- End date to be determined based on weather (Fall 2025)
