Job description:
Working with glass to install windshields and cut glass per customers orders. We are a small, friendly family business with lots going on. You will need a clean driving record. This position would have an immediate start date.
Job Type: Full-time
Duties:
- Cutting and installing Lexan for table orders
- Repairing ,hack out / putty windows
- Repair / make house screens
- Cutting flat glass table orders
- Measuring sealed unit windows for order and installation
- Help lift windshields into place
- Be a second set of hands for out-of-shop jobs
Requirements:
- Experience in a shop setting would be an asset
- Must be reliable and willing to work.
- Must be able to use and read a measuring tape accurately and have basic math skills
- Must be able to use power tools such as skill saw or jig saw.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be able to bend, lift and carry heavy objects like windshield glass
Starting wage: $20.00, for those with experience the wage can be increased
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
